Al Bateen Executive Airport, operated and managed by Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), today reported a 3 6 % increase in commercial aviation movements when compared to 2009.

Abu Dhabi Airports Company’s (ADAC) announced in a press conference, held today at the Middle East Business Aviation Show (MEBA 2010) in Dubai, its plan to reduce its aeronautical charges at Al Bateen Executive Airport, the only dedicated business aviation airport in the region, by 35% on landing fees and by 17% on the current parking fees for all aircraft, effective 1 December 2010

General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and Al Bateen Executive Airport, the Gulf region’s first and only dedicated private aviation airport,  announced in a press conference today the completion of the Instrumental Landing System (ILS) Category 1 upgrade. The ILS system ensures an improved runway usage on par with leading international airports, allowing the airport to use cutting edge technology to enhance environmental performance and expand the capacity and flexibility of the airport.

The GCAA certified Al Bateen Executive Airport, the Gulf Region’s first and only dedicated private aviation airport, operated and managed by Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), is taking the lead in promoting the UAE as the hub for business aviation in the region through announcing an attractive offer during the Etihad Airways Formula Grand Prix season. The executive airport will provide landing and parking services free of charge to all executive jets coming to Abu Dhabi between 10th and 14th November 2010.

The GCAA-certified Al Bateen Executive Airport, the Gulf Region’s first and onlydedicated private aviation airport, has announced a 34.4% increase in aircraftmovements in the first six months of this year, in comparison to the same periodin 2009.

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) announced today the appointment of Steve Jones as General Manager of Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi, the Middle East’ only exclusive private jet airport. Jones will oversee the overall operation of the ADAC operated airport from November this year.
